We all know and love him as the 1st Born Second ever since he dropped his album in 2001 – Bilal, one of the greatest and smoothest soul singers of the newer generation. Since then, he s been guest appearing with many and most of the great soulfuls – Common, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Beyonce, Jaguar Wright, Guru, J Dilla, Mystic, Jay-Z, Sa-Ra & more, and this year September, he will finally drop his new full-on album on Plug Research. We expect great things, and in the meantime, we are looking forward to a live sneak preview of the new album with himself and his band, and also to the good old and oh so great classics – “Fast Lane”, “Soul Sista”, “Sometimes”, “Love it”, “You are”, ah, we reminisce… Come join us and reminisce with us, if you love soul music, it cant get too much better!!
